Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions our Dublin support desk hears most, grouped by theme: using the platform, fees and results, features, risks, security and getting help. If your question is not here, ask it directly at [email protected].
General usage
Fill in the registration form on any page with your name, email and phone number. Opening the account is free and takes under two minutes. A personal manager then contacts you within 24 hours to help with verification and setup.
No. Murravyn is designed for users without professional trading experience. The automated system handles market analysis and execution, and your personal manager helps with every configuration decision. Inexperience does not reduce the market risk, though, which is why we ask you to read the risk disclosure.
A verified account, a minimum starting capital of €250 on the Basic tier, and a few minutes with your manager to choose initial settings. Deposits arrive by SEPA in one to three business days, or within 24 hours by card and PayPal.
Yes. The platform works in the browser on phones and tablets, with the same account, settings and reports as on desktop. Login alerts and session management work identically across devices.
Fees and results
There is no monthly platform fee and no account-opening or maintenance charge. The main costs are a trading commission of up to 0.58% per transaction, spreads from 0.8 on FX pairs, and currency conversion of up to 1.50% where it applies. Every applicable fee is shown before you confirm a transaction, and the full schedule is on the fees page.
On the confirmation screen before you approve any transaction, which shows the commission and any spread or conversion cost that applies. Afterwards, executed costs appear in the account reports, broken out separately so you can check them against the confirmation.
No. Trading shares and cryptocurrencies carries the risk of losing part or all of the amount invested, and nothing on this platform promises otherwise. Illustrative figures in the calculator show examples, not forecasts. Results depend on market conditions, your settings and time, and past performance never guarantees future results.
Platform functions and use
The analysis layer continuously reads price movement, volume, volatility and trend data, and looks for recurring micro-trends using probability-based models. It presents what it finds as signals that strategies can act on. It does not predict the future and it does not remove risk; the Artificial Intelligence page explains the boundaries honestly.
Yes, that is the point of automation: crypto markets trade continuously and share markets follow the trading day, and the platform keeps monitoring and executing according to your configured strategies around the clock. You review what happened through reports and the audit history whenever you like.
Yes. You choose the instruments, the strategies, the conditions under which they act and the notification settings. Ready-made strategies can run as configured, or you can set your own parameters with help from your manager. Any strategy can be paused or stopped at any time.
You choose which events trigger a notification, such as a strategy pausing, a withdrawal completing or unusual account activity, and the rest arrives in the weekly summary email. Market alerts can be set for instruments you follow. Notifications inform you without training you to ignore your phone.
Risks
Yes. Market movement, liquidity conditions and technical failures can all produce losses, and automated strategies act within the same markets. The risk disclosure page explains each risk type and the practical protections available.
Protective mechanisms that can pause automated trading when market conditions become excessively unstable, rather than executing into disorderly prices. They reduce certain types of harm, such as trading into an empty order book. They do not eliminate losses and are not a capital protection scheme.
No, and anyone claiming otherwise should be treated with suspicion. Risk can be managed through allocation sizing, diversification and strategy choice, but market risk itself cannot be removed. Decide in advance the loss level you can accept and let that set your deposit.
Security and your account
Accounts are protected by two-factor authentication, login alerts for new devices, session management and scoped API keys, with an audit history of every important action. Encryption covers data in transit and at rest. You can read the full detail on the security page.
You do. Withdrawals require your confirmation, go to destinations you control, and withdrawal rights on connection keys are off by default. Nobody from Murravyn will ever ask for your password or one-time codes, and requests to move funds to unknown accounts should be reported immediately.
Recovery runs through the registered email with a one-time code, and if email access is lost, support verifies you against your onboarding records before restoring access. The process is deliberately careful and cannot be rushed by phone. Two-factor resets follow the same verification rules with a cooling-off period.
Help and support
Stop the affected strategy if one is running, check the audit history for recent changes, and write to support with what you found. Settings changes are reversible, and asking early costs nothing.
Your personal manager is the first stop, because they know your setup and your goals. General questions also go to [email protected], answered by the support desk within one working hour during support hours. There is no such thing as too basic a question, and asking before acting is the habit we actively encourage.
Write to [email protected] with "Complaint" in the subject line. You receive a reference within one working day, a written outcome for straightforward cases within five working days, and the option to escalate to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman if you are not satisfied with our final response. The full procedure is on the complaints page.
