Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Murravyn website and platform. By accessing the site or creating an account you accept them, so please read this page before registering. It explains what the site is, what you may and may not do on it, and where our responsibility ends and yours begins.
1. Use of the website and services
The website at murravyn.org is an informational and marketing platform operated by Murravyn (trading name), with offices at 26 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin 2, D02 XY45, Ireland. It presents the platform's tools, publishes educational material and receives registration requests. The website itself is not a trading venue. Where trading activity follows from your use of the platform, transactions are executed with the licensed legal entity confirmed to you during onboarding, and that entity's own terms apply to the execution relationship. You agree to use the website and the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms, and to keep your login credentials confidential.
2. Restrictions
You may view, download and print pages from the site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided the copies retain any proprietary notices. You may not modify, publicly display or distribute site content, nor use it to build a database or a competing service, whether by manual copying or automated means. Reasonable quotation with a link to the source is fine; systematic extraction is not. We may suspend access that abuses these rules without prior notice where the abuse is ongoing.
3. Marketing materials and newsletters
By creating an account you consent to receive service messages (account security, verification, withdrawals and similar) which cannot be switched off, and, separately, you may choose to receive marketing materials: market commentary, educational articles and product news. Marketing consent is optional, given at registration, and can be withdrawn at any time through your account settings or via the unsubscribe link in every email. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect service messages or the validity of anything sent before you withdrew.
4. Intellectual property
The Murravyn name, the logo, the site design, texts, illustrations and the platform's software are protected by intellectual property rights held by Murravyn or its licensors. Nothing on the site transfers those rights to you beyond the limited use in section 2. Third-party names and marks appear only to describe compatibility or data sources, and remain the property of their owners; their appearance is not a claim of affiliation or endorsement in either direction. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with particulars and we will review it promptly.
5. Privacy
How we collect, use, store and share personal data is described in full in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: we process the data you give at registration and onboarding to provide the service, meet applicable Irish legal obligations, keep the platform secure and improve what we do. Verification records follow the retention rules in the AML/KYC policy. Your rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection, and how to exercise them, are set out there.
6. Links to other sites
The site links to third-party pages for convenience: payment providers' help centres, regulators' public pages, exchange documentation. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or their availability, and their privacy practices are their own. A link is not an endorsement, and you leave our site at your own judgment when you follow one. Where a link on our site ever points somewhere surprising, treat it as a reportable defect: see the fraud warning.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use the site or platform to break any law; to transmit spam or unsolicited mass communications; to probe, scan or attack the site's or the platform's infrastructure, including attempts to circumvent authentication or rate limits; to infringe intellectual property rights, ours or anyone else's; to upload malicious code or falsified documents; or to access accounts other than your own. Accounts used for prohibited activity may be suspended or closed, funds attributable to prohibited activity may be held pending review, and serious cases are reported to the competent authorities. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive: the test is lawful, honest use.
8. Support
Support is available by email at [email protected] during Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30 GMT (excluding public holidays), operated by our Client Support & Compliance department. Most queries are answered within one working hour, and every account also has a personal manager for onboarding and ongoing help. Security incidents can be reported at any hour and are handled per the incident procedure on the security page. When you contact support, provide enough detail to identify your account, and never include your password.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and platform are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation and fitness for a particular purpose. Content on the site, including articles, market commentary and calculator outputs, is informational only: it is not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument, and not a promise of any outcome. Prices and figures shown are indicative; the figures applied to your transactions are those confirmed at execution and shown before you confirm. Trading involves risk of loss, as described in the risk disclosure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Murravyn's aggregate liability arising from your use of the site is limited to the amount of fees you paid to the platform in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or where no fees were paid, to a reasonable amount determined with reference to your direct loss. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or trading losses caused by market movement, third-party failures beyond our control, or your own decisions made in reliance on informational content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. The limitations here do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and European law, including the complaints procedure and escalation routes available to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Murravyn against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site or platform, or your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your use of the services. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own breach or negligence. Where a third party raises a claim we will notify you where lawful and practical, and cooperate with a reasonable defence you organise.
Other provisions
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to any right you have to bring proceedings where you live. If a clause is held invalid, the rest remains in force, and the invalid clause is replaced by the closest valid one. We may update these terms as the service evolves; the current version is always the one published here, and it takes effect from the moment the updated version is published. Material changes are additionally announced inside the platform. Continuing to use the site after publication means you accept the updated version, and the date of the current version is available on request. Questions about anything in this page go to [email protected].
